  1. Where are laundry facilities located?

    We are behind the Notre Dame Federal Credit Union on Moreau Drive 
     
  2. How do I pay for laundry?

    You can pay with a credit card at the time of pick up or apply it to your student account.  We do not accept cash. 
     
     
  3. When I put my clothes in my laundry bag, do I need to separate them first?

    There is no need to separate your colors and whites we will do that for you. You should, however, be sure that your socks are not balled up, and that there aren't clothes inside of clothes, such as two shirts that you took off together, or shorts and sweats that came off together. These oversights will prevent your clothes from getting their cleanest.
     
  4. Can I use my own laundry bag?

    No.  You must purchase a laundry bag from St. Michael’s – attached will be a bar coded tag which identifies you ensuring that your clothes are returned to you.
     
  5. What about hand wash sweaters and other delicates?

    Unfortunately due to turnaround time constraints we cannot hand wash or dry items individually or hang dry them. If you have items requiring special washing or drying treatment you should not include them in your laundry bag but bring them in personally to  the main plant.  
     
  6. I don't want my clothes folded - can you give them back to me on hangers?

    Not using the laundry bundle plan.  We are unable to return clothing submitted in a personal laundry bag on hangers.  You may however, bring those items you want pressed and on hangers in personally to  the main plant. 
     
  7. What if I have special instructions for the care of my clothes - i.e. - new clothes, fear of shrinking, etc?

    All clothing in your laundry bag will be machine washed and dried – we are unable to give special attention to garments in laundry bags.  If you have a particularly fragile or delicate item you should consider bringing it in personally to either the distribution center located on campus or the main plant.   
     
  8. How do I know that I am getting all of my clothes back?

    All laundry bags are opened in view of our camera system so we can review a camera at any time to determine if an item was received and in what condition.  As well, all garments are folded and replaced to your laundry bag in front of the camera system.  If by chance an item is missing please call our customer service number immediately so we can begin to search camera footage.
     
  9. Will my clothes be mixed in with other people's clothes?

    Your clothes are all bagged separately by color and bar coded for identification enabling us to wash in large loads using the industry’s highest rated detergents and conditioners.
     
  10. How do I know when my clothes are done?

    Turnaround time is 48 Hours from pick-up to drop off (except weekends).  We will  e-mail you a confirmation that your laundry is ready. 
     
  11. What kind of detergent do you use?

    We partner with Gurtler Industries for our detergent.  We use their Pulse Advance detergent and NDT conditioner for all personal clothing.  
     
  12. If I use a special detergent - can I bring it in to you and have you wash with that?

    Unfortunately, we are unable to do very small loads of laundry and cannot accommodate special detergent requests.
     
  13. What if something is damaged or lost?

    If you are missing an item please call or email customer service within 5 days of picking up your clothes. We will attempt to look for it and work with you on solving the problem.
     
  14. Do you do dry cleaning?

    Yes!  Any item(s) requiring dry cleaning should be brought in personally to  the main plant.    We also offer wet cleaning (the green alternative to dry cleaning). 
     
  15. Can I get my garments ironed?

    Yes! Any item you prefer to be finished with an iron should be brought in personally to the main plant.   
  16. What happens if I leave personal items in my pockets?

    We ask that you ensure all items have been removed from your pockets prior to pick-up. In the event that we do find items in your pockets, we’ll return them inside a sealed bag along with your laundry.
     
  17. I have allergies, do you use allergen free products?

    We always use a PH neutral detergent.  We use Gurtler Industries for all wash chemistry and receive monthly titrations to ensure consistency.
